Summing up 2008.
-Roller coaster.
-Emotional wreak.

And I really thought I wasn't able to live through it.

Alan Seng:
Thank you for always being so encouraging, optimistic. You were the one who counselled me when I cried like nobody's business after SA1 and PTM -.- Thank you for always being able to cheer people up(: Continue being so, and bringing your friends to church (: Really encouraged by it, too.

Chang Yen:
For always being so horny, and infecting Reena with it -.- Being my lesbian partner, allowing me to kiss you in the middle of Orchard.
I mean, really.
Okay la. For always being so crazy, having such chemistry with me. Being high, and being one of the ones I can always rant my head off to.

Cherie Chin:
Accompanying me in class, so I won't be the weird loner girl who sits there and stones in class. Always thoughtful, putting others first (:

Daryl Chia:
Thank you for helping me tide through the stupid september period, if not ... Ho ho ho. Always being there to crap with me, and standing my randomness.

Jenise Thng:
For making me laugh during LCL's lesson.

No la. Her perseverence for maths really encourages people a lot. Thank you for that(: Always encouraging me when my math results comes back and hits me square in the face.

My crazy twinnie! Going crazy over b3 and elmo ^^ I can't forget the time we chatted over the phone before our papers during SA1, and our results... *shakes head*
Though we haven't talked for... 6 months over the phone, we just took 2 minutes to warm up and start going crazy yesterday. And teasing Alex.
You're one whom I know I can really confide and tell stuffs to. Thank you *up up*

Joyce Ching:
For always looking out for other people. Though changyen always say you 没脑，please tell her it takes one to knows one.

Post Christmas post!
Usually I type out a paragraph for the the people who helped me tide through 2008, but I'm feeling really lazy ): Maybe some other time, when I have the mood.

I was reading through my blog archives and realised that last year, I went to orchard 3 times during the christmas week. Happened this year too -.- Shall continue the tradition next year.

Hongkong!

Please flush away seat covers after use. No wonder my cubicle didn't have one.

I caught a cold on the first night, and was cooped up in the room while my family ventured out to some cha chan teng.

Day 2.
Had some city tour thing, then went to some holy shrine thing. With lots of weird stuff. Most of the tour group ended up taking pictures by the coastline.

The cluster of houses on the hill are supposed to be meant for the filthy rich. Jacky Chan lives in the brown coloured house.

Bollywood movie.

I know Joyce would love this.

Went to the Peak next, via cable car!

You're supposed to continue walking up from there just to see the huge buddha statue, then reward yourself with a vegetarian feast.

We just walked around the shops, and bought frozen bing tang hu lo! Really really sour.

Back from camp!
There ends the most exciting week of my life.

The games on the first day tested our brawns, and the next, our brains!

Day #1.

We registed, and found out we were staying at the 7th floor

ZOMGEEE.
We hiked up, and the following days, we had to run up to the 7th floor to bathe

Started with games, was with most of the kabod guys.
And I suspect Kumyong took ballet when he was young. While playing sponge ball (something like captain's ball, but sub it with a wet sponge. The official GB sport!) he could bend really low and squeeze the sponge in the bottle.

Dingming fell. He never fails to fall every YI camp/ MT -.-

The sliding thing was fun. Our group was really good at it(with a team of 7 guys and 2 girls, what do you expect -.-)

Oh oh oh! And we played the flour thing! We had to find pebbles from a pail of flour and spit them into a bucket. Thanks to Keith's long hands, we did not miss any :D

Day #2.

The intro for the game was awesome! Very cool luh.

And after the game, I had a craving for that -.- Hanyang, where are you?

Basically, we had to clear the game to speak to the suspects who were suspected to be involved with the disappearance of Mas Selamat.

Talked to taxi uncle first (Andrewww!). And he sounded really grandfather-ish.
We cleared this by playing save the drowning man at Lisa's station.7/10 people won in scissors paper stone, so we had 7 people to help block the holes in the pipe.
And we managed to do it! Though it did seem impossible. I had to have water sprayed on me, and I had to stay in the position.

We had to fix a big square using cut up paper in order to talk to Ken/ Warren Buffet. And we managed to do it!

We had to pacify Siewling in order to talk to her. She wanted us to sing her a song, and he suddenly belted out in

She kept um chio-ing, then she talk to us after. :D
The real janitor ksed her and took her 'cleaning in progress' board. Super funny!

Nicholas and Kumyong were the brains behind mastermind, which we managed to complete at the last and final round.

Finally found minesweeper!
For every bomb kumyong stepped on, someone had to dip his face in water and then in flour.
So this was how the game went
First.
Bomb.
Second.
Bomb.
Third.
Bomb.
Fourth.
Bomb.
Fifth.
Safe.
Sixth.
Bomb.
Seventh.
Bomb.

LOL. All the guys did the forfeit though. Hee. Kumyong looked like the Joker after being flour-ed.
Now I know how to play minesweeper =.=

Seriously, all the games required teamwork.
We would not have completed save the drowning man without it, were we saw everyone trying their best to cover up all the holes, and not minding if we got wet.
Nor or the triangle thing, were we had to do everything in silence, yet together.
Nor trying to pacify siewling.
Nor to complete mastermind.
Nor sacrificing themselve to get flour-ed and planning where to go for minesweeper.

Day #3.
G. is for Green!
R. is for Really good!
E E. is for Extra good!
N. Is for Never lose!
War games! Hiked to Bishan(beeeshan! oops) park.
Collected 2 1/2 bottles of water, and zhenke drank half a bottle on the way back -.-
We were kind discouraged, cause our spot wasn't really that good, and we collected pretty little water.

Our side didn't have much action=\
Joyce piggybacked me twice! Hohoho. I feel gay. Whoops.
Changyen kept hitting me in her sleep on the third night -.-

Day #4.
Had to clean 2nd floor toilet for area cleaning with Liying and Siwei. The guys came in with pails and helped us to clean the floor. Keith doused water on me -.-
But hey, it was fun!:D

Presented our cheer. i regret wearing 3e3 class jersey. So bright, super easy to spot. Then get shot by someone somemore. Tsk.*shakes head*

Could have done it without Sunil and Andy though.

Broke camp then knocked out at 830pm. Woke up at 8am. Sialadey. Hahaha

Back :D
Touched down at 1148pm last night. Our flight was overbooked, so they pushed us to a later flight, and offered us business class in return.
Time does flies, and it all feels like a dream.
But mmy stack of ISPLs happily remind me that they were not.

I suddenly feel like doing homework ): I feel deprived. Boohoo.
I miss ISPLing ):

Gonna meet with the cell in 1 and a half hours time.
I was in hongkong 24hours before camp. Felt so cool luh.

Had a go at trying out cantonese.
Mum: What's soyabean in cantonese? Cannot say then you can't order.
Me: Um. dao hua suai?
Mum: It's dao fa suai. (spelling should be wrong)
At least I got 2/3 correct :D

Weather rocked there! But it's pretty polluted.
And the PRCs ruined it for us. I don't care if I blog it up.
They really cut your queue and push their way through, and when you confront them, they actually scold you -.-

Went to orchard yesterday, and found out that Yuenkai's eyes are at least 3 times bigger than mine -.- Uhhhh

I feel as if I'm going to hongkong wrapped up as a dumpling. Whoops.
I'm so depressed cause I'm surrounded by totally photogenic people in my life -.-
