Last 30 minutes to 2008 people. Breathe in the remaining 2007 air. Or do something childish. So like tomorrow you can exclaim," But that was last year!" When you're caught red handed.

Me? I wanna stay in 2007 =( As 2e3. No scary teachers. No homework the size of skyscrapers. No horrid camps. In short, no 08 =(

Ruth: Nope, I have never ever been sane, haven't you known? I wonder which teacher I should blame. Hmm. I doubt its in me though, I'm sure it was triggered by some trumatic incident(now I'm spelling incident as indicent. Can you make out that word? Nope, not indecent. Its after effects of indices.) I can't pronounce quarreling. Shh.
Hongzhang: I shall tape it all over your bedroom walls and wait for you to slowly figure out (: For a girl, she's pretty hawt. For a guy, he's gorgeous.

Jacelyn: Either that or I can realllly scare her by speaking chinese with an extremely heavy english accent. Even if its true she can't blame me what. I can say I spent my life in like say, U.S. or something. And it won't be my fault. I can totally imagine it.

Joyce: Those kind of teachers are just super uptight. I had something like that in primary school. But we had to pay 20 cents with every english word we say during chinese. But she's just, hardcore. I can already predict my death.
Joyce: I just hope that she will retire in the middle of the year/ go MIA. Like what happened to our other chinese teachers. WFL taught us for the longest period of time I think. Maybe not, but it did seem long.
Changyen: Good luck then. Don't expect any answers. "Do it yourself! Persistence! Never give up!"

I realised something. Now that I have thicker textbooks, I CAN USE THEM TO FLING AT PEOPLE! Muahahaha.
Jokingggg. I'll miss Ruth in class. I'll miss her shocked expression whenever I do something freaky. =(

I AM SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO SEC 3 CAMP.
Forget about packing. Packing alone is hell.
Imagine lugging your mission trip bag to school. (Yes I'm bringing my MT bag. Its 3 days 2 nights. And its easy to stuff things in. Sheryl, just admit you're lazy)
I shall quote Ruth: Ninety-five bucks to "sleep in a garage, eat bugs, and not shower", as put so eloquently by Dogbert
The school has graciously subsidised us by $28:50, if I dont recall wrongly. However. Its still $95 to sleep in a garage, eat bugs, and not shower. We will be sleeping in bunks, or so they claim. But how decent it is, I don't know. Eat bugs, well. Camp food was never nice. From the time during p5 camp where you can try as hard as you can mash the rice up and you would never succeed, and were fishballs were bouncier than rubber balls- to lets say. Well, I decline to go any further, before people start chasing me with throwing stars.
And yes, the shower factor. Did I mention how much I hate hate hate queuing up to bathe? They take their long sweet time to bathe( especially the girls). That was why the whole bunch of us chionged during YI camp. Maybe its this factor that caused people like he- who- must- not- be- named not to bathe.

Scrolling up, I wonder why I've been writing so much. Maybe I'm in a talkative mood today.

Alrights I'm backkk x)

Supposed to go for class outing today. But am dead tired. Woke up at 1:30 anyway. Kudos to me sleeping at 430. Laughing makes one high.

Monday: Christmas eve. Orchard. Yaode was complaining to me how his brother was giving him attitude. So that's why his brother did not turn up for the bbq.
Tuesday: Christmas day! Bbq, shall blog about that later.
Wednesday: Boxing day. Orchard, again. Saw weihong on the bus. And my mum kept giving me strange looks after I talked to him.
Thursday: Rest day. Supposed to watch I am legend. But was super tired the night before.
Friday: Orchard. Yet again. This time Norman wants to go shopping. So alex, jolyn and I are tagging along.

Orchard every alternate day. Nicee.

Well. Shall update about the bbq.
They all arrived separately. Uhh.

The fire was super small at first. But my uncle helped to make it super big in like, 10 mins.

Guess what my brother did that shocked us all.
He started whacking Yurun with a 1.5l water bottle.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Something I implore all of you to do this year, sit back, and listen to christmas carols. Not listen listen, but really listen. Feel the song, digest the lyrics. Amazing how such stuff can touch your heart like that.

Something else. Went to orchard yesterday.
My mum, bro and I walked through an underpass. And you know those buskers. Those blind ones that play to earn money for ends to meet. My brother actually stopped in that crowded underpass, and started fishing his pocket for money. I think my mum gave him some coins before that.
If you don't know, my brother's super money minded. He has a grand total of $1.60 in his wallet/savings, and refused to part with them.
That really touched me alot.
So this christmas, slow down. Take a break, and appreciate the things around you (:

Back from YI camp!

Seems to me that your first mt and yi camp will always be the best, eh?
First day.
Painted our nails gold. All for yellow tribe!
Walked to RJC. Almost died.
Found out that I actually forgot to bring my jacket, no wonder I felt I was lacking something. Thank God for Norman's jacket, which kept me from freezing, and falling even sicker (:

Had games again. Poison ball, blanket volleyball and lots of cheering.
Black tribe: 游阿游，游阿游
Nothing much on the first day. Just that the whole bunch of us decided to be auntie and chiong to the toilet, and we were the first, than therefore, we managed to bathe. The taps( yeah they were the same from last year) could only work in 2 cubicles.
So you can imagine how long the whole level took to bathe.

I miss ABRAHAM =(

Second day.
Games were super fun. The intro! Sunil and I-dunno-who decked in army wear, speaking in an afghanistan(HOLY! I CAN SPELL AFGHANISTAN!) accent. Hanyang was Osama, with a square stomach.
Hanyang: STOP LAUGHING! Do you know who I am?
Us: HANYANGGG!
Hanyang: (afghanistan accent) SHUT UP. I AM OSAMA BIN _____( something, not laden)

Went around to different towns. Town of freaks, silence, leisure, labour, chance, sports.
Hanyang: This one is *accent* spoooordds.
Us: Huh?
Hanyang: Spooordds.
Us: what?
Hanyang: my accent too strong for you already is it? SPORDS.
Us: Huh?
Hanyang: Ok i'll say it one last time. I wont repeat it any more. Sportds.

We went to town of labour twice, easy money, they say. So we did 60 push ups. Push ups again because we failed the previous one by 0.1 second == And yes, we did girl style pumpings. I was not used to it, till the extent of me getting blue black on my left knee. Bruising your knee by doing girl style pumping, stupid enough. Girl style pumping no kick. Not enough to torture us. Haha.
Wheelbarrowed twice, eh. I was the one being carried.

Town of chance, super disgusting. They dumped leftovers in a pail. Noodles, watermelon, water, flour and alot of soap. And coloured chips. You were supposed to turn 10 rounds, run forward, slap camouflage paint on your face, then run to the bucket and fish for yellow chips. The water was warm o.o

Yellow tribe was the third for that day. Woo.

Third day.
WAR!
Walked to bishan park, and there were 2 eggs under one tree on the way there.

Got to our land, and I was in defence.
Green tribe started attacking us first.
Then Brown tribe(note, brown TRIBE. Not a few members of brown tribe.) marched up to us and started attacking us. We got air raided, and they stole our flag. But we managed to get it back :D
Brown tribe was super scary. They're all super violent. I still can't get over the Dorcus incident. Talk about mean :\

Then red tribe and blue tribe allied. And attacked us together. Thats the two biggest tribes allying together. Thank God we paka-ed hao with black tribe earlier to ally with them. We kept shouting for them, and later found out that they thought we wanted to air raid green together, so they went on standby ==
But it's super cool to ally with black =D

And you know why we were always being attacked? Because we were the smallest tribe :\ not enough people to go around attacking. Only can defend. Rawr.

Black tribe and green tribe kept attacking each other. How cute.
Green tribe la. All can run fast. 84th and 53rd guys who play soccer 24/7. RAWR.

Night, we taupok-ed! Kairos de chou shi. Shhh. Changyen and Jenise don't brush their teeth after eating supper! EEEE.
We all got super high at night. Like doing the yellow cheer on the air mattresses.

Forth day.
Had to break camp. Folded up the air mattresses with much difficulty. Anddd went around painting guy's nails. What I found out. Guys who allow us to paint their nails are nice. At first we were sitting around. Then jiajun walked past us. And said: Sorry, I have no spare change. I went HOI.
And changyen and joyce didn't get it. =.=
So the second time he walked past, I was:KIND SIR!(qupted from the golden joke. Lopez and da ben's reactions were super priceless) and whipped out the nail polish. So that was how it started. Blame jiajun.
Guys who allowed us to paint. Hall of fame:
Trevor, Jason, Dingming, Daniel, Junda, chowchin, weihao, joseph, munkidd, derwin, liangzhi, weekiat, norman, ken lim.
Others just ran away. Its the first time derwin smiled when we chased him. He has really opened up alot, esp after mt.

Yellow didnt win anything, but at least, we won with integrity. Learnt a lot during camp.
Pastor Matt Fielder's super funny. Not because he can speak with an indian accent. He can make the donald duck voice too! Super cute.

What can I blog about yesterday?
Changyen bullying me and me having sweet revenge.
Has any of you heard about 'happy slapping' happening in america? Yeah we did something like that.

My relatives from malaysia came over (yet again). But unlike my cousin who came for 35 days, I have absolutely no idea how long/short this batch is going to stay.
Relatives= Family dinner.
My uncle's a vegetarian. I almost had a heart attack when the first few dishes that arrived were just vegetables. And plain rice. And my family was talking about some issues with the waiter. And I thought that was all we were having.

I took 2 hours to pack for camp. Because I procrastinated for 1h30mins. Then finally got to work.
Note to self: Comb and slippers unpacked.
I took my brother's cookie monster mug to camp. That was the only plastic one I could find. He didn't allow me to bring it at first, that selfish pig. So I had to spin up a story on how much I'll miss him during the camp and I needed the mug to remind me of him. Then he agreed.

My legs are almost dead.

Orchard with Jacelyn, Liying, Joyce and Changyen.
Took 77 with Joyce to bukit batok interchange, and 77 back again to town. Wowww.
And yes, we were super noisy on the bus.We were never silent for one moment =P

~~Yes Jacelyn, I understand why you say when changyen lies it doesn't look real. Because she's not a good actress. No la. Because I'm a good actress(bleahs.haha) and I like the thrill of lying. Shh.~~

Alrights, we went walking around first. Got hungry, went into tangs to the top floor, and decided was too expensive.
And guess who we saw?

Went on to eat at wisma. Japanese food. Its super hard to eat right now la. Can't really chew.(people who know why, shhh) Must see people's reaction. Like jacelyn's.
Soft shell crab, 2 soft shell crab handroll, 2 green teas, salmon sushi, tempura udon, some nice ramen thingy.

We saw this super nice limo. Its carplate was 'AFNI'. Cool. And black BMs! Super shiny and sleek x)

Oh yes. The modelling agency thing.
One whole bunch of people had to approach people as their holiday job I guess. And get names.

Shall update about yesterday, the mini class outing.

We had to wait for Jeremy who was playing LAN. And finally gave up. Because I had the craving to eat chicken rice o.o
And after which. We went to pizza hut, where yurun, yiwei, jenise, liying and I shared a personal pan pizza because it would be bad for the 6 of us to enter pizza hut, and only 1 orders.

So for that little amount of pizza, we actually managed to make use of our $3 service charge and used up half a bottle of cheese. Wow.

Chanel arrived, and we spend 45 minutes deciding where to go. I went home though, I was super tired =(
They wanted to go to ecp, 1 hour away. But they went to kbox, I heard. One stop away

4:27 PM;

Back from mission trip. The 9 days reallyreally just flew past just like that. Like whoa. And its gone o.o

Day one.
Flew off, and cam whored with Changyen on the plane, with the sock puppets.

I sew on the eyes on the plane, without any scissors, because we couldn't bring them on, right? So I used my first premolar to cut it. Now I know why my premolars are sharper than my incisors. I use them more.

Touched down. And we dared Nicholas to tell the guy/girl who checks our passport that he/she was pretty. He chickened out. So sad =(

We went on an 8 hour bus ride to Bua Yai, and on there, the guys (mainly Hongzhang, yaode, nicholas and desmond) sang, and refrained the whole bus from sleeping.
When we stopped at 7-11, most of us bought sausages. They no longer sell the low fat strawberry milk anymore =( By the end of the trip, we bought so many sausages that we were sick of them already.

Stopped for dinner/ supper somewhere. Same place as last year. And Alex put chilli on the flowers which were meant for decoration.

Alex put on 6 layers of clothes. Polo tee, mt shirt, bb polo tee, my jacket, changyen's jacket and glady's jacket. Yes he was that cold.

See the extra person cutting into the picture? Thats alex.

We ate crunchie chocolate on the bus, and went on a sugar high. No wonder crunchie's slogan is 'say goodbye to quiet days'. How true. More high school musical concerts. Talked about random stuffs. Like leg hair.

And they introduced us to heart pumping action, where we went extremely high after all the laughing.

Arrived at the resort. Looked pretty pretty, but there was no heater. Sunil told us it was 19 degrees I think. So imagine bathing with that, the water was probably colder than that. And there was a fan in the toilet, which you cant turn off o.o Everytime after we bathed, we'd be surprised that we were still alive. Artillian: She isn't showing any signs of life! Oh no. Sheryl! Are you okay?
Artrillian and Wanting were my roommates, and we slept half the first night with the light on, until I could not stand it any longer and turned off the lights, and I found out that wanting sleep talks (:
This was the night/day when I noticed that Samuel was called Samuel, same name as my dad. So he became my dad o.o Changyen's crazy suggestion. Heh. But I thank her though. I get to see his priceless expression everytime I call him dad.

Day two.
We were supposed to have english camp for 3 days. And we went to this school on the first, totally chaotic. The students were *quote* a bunch of monkeys/ kindergarten kids. I think they were p4-sec3s, if my memory doesn't fail me.
We had to teach classes in groups of 2s or 3s. And I was with Samuel and Jason. Dad and mum. Woo.
Had mass evangelical outreach, and my team performed the 'you're special' skit. Totally shocking. We practised it the least leh.
Day three.

Woke up, and we realised that smoke could be formed when we breathed out. How cool. It was that cold.
Went to a different school, thank God for that. This school was nicer, the people were more open. We taught our class alphabets by drawings, numbers, and songs. I was like just drawing drawing drawing and drawing. Jason was teaching them(note, he's a good teacher). Samuel taught them numbers and played the guitar. The kids there like guitars very much. They can pretty much go crazy once we bring the guitar out.
We had night rally later on.
Wanting and I took care of this girl, and we suspected that she was deaf, because she was unresponsive. In fact, the one I took care of was unresponsive as well. Even hongzhang could not make her laugh. How rare.
Day four.
Had breakfast, and we cam whored as a team.

Went back to the school we went on the previous day. We were supposed to watch facing the giants in thai, but something cropped up.

Changyen and I took care of two particularly sweet kids, who bought ice cream for us. We couldn't eat it though, and had to throw it away. Ouch.
Hongzhang and pastor tik/teak's son got stung by a bee. This guy teaches the boy to make faces, and kick people o.o

Had night rally again. This time with daniel, yaode, nicholas, alfred. We went very deep in, as usual. There was this blind guy and we were supposed to bring him to the rally. So we continued, and decided to come back afterwards. We met this hokkien speaking woman, and she actually helped us to invite her whole street. We almost got lost in the village. We tried back tracking, but we lost our way. It was dark already, and we did not have any torches. Halfway back, we met a bunch of people who told us the way. And after walking a few steps, we found the blind guy's house. How cool was that?
Day five.
A saturday. We went to church.

The violent twins. One stuck with Gladys, and one with Jason. They're extremely the violent worh. I shall not tell you guys what one did to Samuel.

Went to Khon Kaen at night, and there was this concert thing, super cool. Did the skit again, and went on to do children ministry. I think the kids like the heart pumping action alot.
The whole team slept on the way back. Like wow. Never happened before.
Day six.
Sunday. Went back to church again.

This is how yaode got into the van. Through the window.

Went to a temple, the buddha there was big seh.
There were lots of dogs and cats there. They were supers skinny though. One dog looked as though it had leprosy. I took a picture of with damn cute kitten. Waiting for nicholas to send it to me.

They had this huge pond with dead lotuses.

We had dinner outside. Pad thai and a second helping of wonton noodles. Super nice. Yum. The thai's seasonings are sugar, fish sauce, chili flakes and peanuts. Wonton noodle with peanuts. No, I think sugar's weirder. Desmond and I tried it though. Tasted ok, weirdly enough.

Went back to the resort.

This is how it looks like. The bathroom's over there.
Artrillian informed me that Hongzhang stuffed a beetle and cockroach into a bottle of water. And I rushed over. Hongzhang told me and reenacted how changyen started crying(and screaming) when she saw the cockroach.
Hongzhang was using sticks of pocky to poke the beetle(it was still alive) and I suggested putting soap in the bottle. Then conditioner, shampoo, toothpaste, mentos(which we had to crush to shove it in), more pocky, and finally chocolate milk.
Hongzhang was reenacting how changyen was banging on the door, I laughed so hard that I dropped the pocky twice.
Then I suggested freezing it( the beetle died by then) and hongzhang agreed. Woo. Cockroach and beetle ice pop. Haha.

Day seven
Had to check out today. And went over to make sure hongzhang took out the ice pop from the freezer. It pretty much became solid.

Went back to the church. And took a few photos.

Went to tesco, we were told to do tract bombing. And when we got down from the 1 hour ride,(I slept) and blurly went down the van, tracts in hand.
And sunil told us that we were here to do shopping.
o.o

Stephen treated us to swensens, so much for telling him to xia tai =X

Had alot of doughnuts o.o Bought one for my mortal ding ming.

Guys have no hand hair, and their stomach's FLAT. Especially hongzhang o.o

Went back to church. Had team debrief while waiting for the bus.

After alex's turn, everyone went serious, and started crying. Except me, again. Like last year. We had something like this. Everyone cried expect alex and I. Alex could still take photos of people. So I've earned my reputation as heartless creep. No la. Just that I can't cry easily.

The bus came at 11, and hongzhang started singing 'what i've done' over and over again. It was below 0 on the back of the bus. Our sleep was always disturbed. Like halfway through, the bus driver turned on the lights and went MIA for 20 minutes.
Hongzhang: It starts with the WAN TING, I don't know why. It doesnt even matter how hard I try.
Everyone slept. Hurray. No more high school musical concerts.
Day eight.
Maxx hotel! Was super elated. Had breakfast first, where nicholas started singing bu neng shuo de mi mi. Leng ca fei li de re bei mian. (Direct translation, the cold coffee thats in a bowl of hot instant noodles)

Went shopping*does white chicks sign*
Bought 3 shirts, 1 shoe, 1 bag. Walked past mister doughnut and felt like puking. Then my dad told me that they reuse oil, and refry them doughnuts. Ew. Moral of the story, get your doughnuts from singapore only.

Ate at sizzler, yum. But changyen and I were super full. So we shared a set. Amazing how a small portion of meat can fill you up. It always does. Doesn't make sense.(ok fine I know why. Its science. But stilll...)

Day nine
Woke up for breakfast. And went up again, to pack, and prank called people.
Hongzhang: Hello mr ding ming? We have your son.
Sheryl: AH PA AH PA.

We had a turbulence on the plane! I find that cool. Like rollar coaster like that. And the whole YI was like. Woo~ing. How cool (:

Daniel and Changyen are gullible. When our luggage did not show up, sunil told us that during turbulences, the airline crew throw out bags so that the load would not be so heavy. And changyen believed.

But its scary waiting for your luggage because the coveyer belt keeps making you feel that you're moving o.o

And finally, I'M DONE.
I started on 5/12/07, 9:54pm. And its 7/12, 4:17pm. Have I broken the record yet?
