I was shocked. Only 7 people
had attended today's maths supplementary
class after school. That's 7/32. Wow. A grand total of 25 lazy pigs did not turn up. Well, I can forgive those people who really are buzy. But not those people who stayed in the school library(e.g. Mohini) and those who faked it, pretending that they had tuition to that day. Yar. As if so hardworking. Ms Chong, I highly doubt you would be reading this, next time, make supplementary compulsory in order to prevent people like ** ****** from slacking. I am not a goody two shoe, but how would you feel if you step into a class to teach, and only find 7 pupils? Must as well sit at your work station, drink
kopi and shake leg. Pardon my bad grammar today. If you really know me well, you should know that if I was angry, my grammar would be so damn bad. Anyway, got to keep this short. Looking for a new skin.

Dear Sheryl,
Today is your special day of the year.Make a wish! It's being 3 odd months since we met? Haha. Not that short too. Eh? Firstly, I would like to wish you a very 'Happy Birthday' on this very special day for you. A quote by JJ Lin, 'In weakness, we are made strong'. Don't be sad when you underacheive, always look on the birght side of life! Treat your results as the barrier you are going to overcome. 梦想起飞! (When you have dreams, you will have hope!)
Thank you for treating me as your "brother".That means I have 4 siblings to take care of? It has been a pleasure for me to talk to you. I couldn't think of any better present than this. I have include a video on sceneries done by myself ! Hope you will enjoy!
I wish you a very pleasant year to go!
Oh, good health too! :)
-- With luck,Kok Seng

" Fifteen year old boy gets into NUS" The headlines screamed. I dropped my scone in shock and horror. I ruffled through the pile of newpapers and fished out 'Home' and started reading.
Oh. So he scored 4 A* s and got a total of 275 for PLSE. He is also a pro at piano and violin. Rage, guilt, jealousy and sorrow filled me. Rage and sorrow for dropping piano two years ago. Jealousy..Well you can guess why. Guilt for not getting an A* for my preliems. He picked up violin when he was seven. I picked up piano at age four.
Extremely saddened, I threw the newpaper aside, buttered another scone and continued doing my assessment paper.

Now I am convinced that I am an underachiever. A 67.5 for maths, 76 for chinese, 84 for science and a pathetic grand total of 74.25(upon 100) for english. If my aunt(who is a teacher) finds that I got that, she would probaly say," Your mental capacities are more than adequate to surmount any difficulties in the average primary school subjucts. Are you addressing to yourself to the subject in question as you should?" I often feel like I'm two steps behind
Somebody must have moved that finish line
There are a thousand reasons
Why I should give up
But I'm stubborn in the things I believe
Or maybe not......

September, the month of many birthdays. Michelle, Joyce, my grandfather, me, my maid and my grandmother. Here is what I want to say...
- Michelle has been my very good friend for three years. We have not seen each other for two years, but we have always kept in contact, by calling up each, chatting on MSN and writing letters to each other. Michelle, if you are reading this, thank you for being a great friend whom I could tell all my troubles to.
- Joyce, my cousin. We found out this year that we both love cooking, slacking (".), and spongebob. Thank you for being there when I needed coaching in maths and of course, baking together.
- My grandfather. We are not close though we share the same birthday.
- Me. Thank you for being who I/you am/are.
- My maid. I doubt you would ever read this but thank you for being a friend.
- My grandmother, xie xie ni jiao wo hua yu.
Happy Birthday, my friend
Here's to all the years we've shared together
All the fun we've had
You're such a blessing
Such a joy in my life
May the good Lord bless you
And may all your dreams come true
